• The Message file PSAMSGWK is used for sending Alerts, either from SQL/QRY Monitor or from an SAR report if the Alert Threshold is exceeded.
• The Message file PSAMSGWK is created in library PSAUDIT when option 8 (=Start Alert) is specified for a command on Work With SQL/QRY Auditing (option 28 from PA17) or when conditions are met for sending an alert, such as an Alert Threshold is exceeded as defined in a PSAudit report filter.
• The Message IDs are added to PSAMSGWK when conditions are met for sending an alert.
• The Message IDs and Message Text are derived from a PSAudit report filter definition's Threshold ID and Message, or from pre-defined alerts defined in other message files, such as msg ID PSA0500 in message file PSAUDIT/PSAUDIT.
