Linking a GPO does not generate an event.

GPG stops reporting GPO events.

Generating reports returns an index out of range error.

ERROR: 'Index out of range'

cause
The physical hard drive of the Group Policy Guardian (GPG) server is out of available space.  Logging has filled the drive with temp files.

fix

To remove temporary files and free space on the hard disk:

  1. Turn off logging on the GPG server.

  2. Delete, copy, or remove all existing GPG tmp files.

  3. Stop and restart the NetIQ GPG Control Service.
