Situation

How do I manually uninstall or remove AppManager Control Center?

Resolution

To remove AppManager Control Center 6.0 Server:

  1. Download the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility from:

    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301

  2. If you have Command Queue Service (CQS) installed, stop the service.
  3. Launch the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility and select AppManager Control Center to uninstall.  (Warning:  Make sure you select only AppManager Control Center.)
  4. Delete the C:\netiq\appmanager\Control Center folder.
  5. Delete the C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{4739FF7E-750C-4501-B3B4-27C3925E07E3} folder.
  6. Delete the following registry key:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\netiq\appmanager\Control Center
