NetIQ Control Center 6.x
The Control Center Repository upgrade does not see the QDB Database.
Ensure you are applying the upgrade to the actual QDB Server. If the Control Center Repository is on this Server but the registry key is not present, you will need to re-install the database and then restore from Backup as addressed in NetIQ KB Article: NETIQKB2525
This issue can be resolved with a specific steps to manually recreate the required registry keys. Please contact NetIQ Technical Support for more information.
The upgrade looks for the existence of the QDB Registry Key located in: HKeyLocalMachine | Software | Netiq | AppManager | 4.0 | QDB
If this registry key does not exist, Verification of the SQL Repository QDB will fail. The Repository upgrade also writes a string value to this registry key during installation.
