Error: 3709 Runtime error 'Connection cannot be used to perform this operation'.

cause
Under certain circumstances, the Vulnerability Manager console freezes.

fix

This error is resolved by NetIQ Vulnerability Manager 5.0.1 Hotfix 44958.  This hotfix addresses a temporary console freeze that may occur when adding endpoints.  This patch also fixes an issue with an agent install creating duplicate agent and endpoint name entries when the original agent in the asset map has a suffix of .vsm.
