Situation

Exchange_MsgsByServer Knowledge Script does not collect data on Microsoft Exchange 2003 servers.

Resolution

Update the following Windows Registry Value with the correct path to the Exchange Tracking Logs:


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeSA\Parameters\<ServerName>\LogDirectory

Cause

Tracking logs are enabled in Microsoft Exchange; however, the following value is not present in the Windows Registry on the Microsoft Exchange Server being monitored; or does not have the correct path to the Exchange Tracking Logs specified:


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeSA\Parameters\<ServerName>\LogDirectory
