Exchange_SMTPConnectivity script causes NetIQmc service to crash (NETIQKB44868)

Environment

NetIQ AppManager 6.x
NetIQ AppManager 7.0.x
AppManager for Exchange 6.x
Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server
Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server

Situation

Exchange_SMTPConnectivity script successfully runs on first iteration but thereafter it will not submit emails to the sent folder.

A Dr. Watson error is generated on the NetIQ AppManager Client Resource Monitor (NetIQmc) Service.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in recent releases (version 7.x) of the AppManager for Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 Server Module.  Visit the AppManager Module Upgrades and Trials page to obtain the latest version.

Cause

A problem within the AppManager for Exchange Module causes the NetIQ AppManager Client Resource Monitor service to fail.
