Situation

How do I install Secure Password Administrator on another instance of SQL besides the default one?

Can SPA be installed into a named instance in SQL?

Resolution

During the installation of Secure Password Administrator (SPA), the installer prompts for the port used to connect to SQL.  In order to install to a different instance of SQL besides the default instance, specify the appropriate port for the second instance of SQL.  By default the port entered in the installer is 1433.
