Exchange Migrator deletes the target Active Directory user account.

cause

It is possible for Exchange Migrator to delete a target Active Directory user account when the following three statements are true:

1. You selected the Replace option for mailboxes on the Naming Collisions window in the Specify Migration Options wizard.
2. You selected the Translate source addresses to target domain option on the Email Address Options window in the Specify Migration Options wizard.
3. The ONLY valid conflict available for the particular mailbox migration is the SMTP address.

fix
The product is working as designed. To prevent the possibility of Exchange Migrator deleting a target Active Directory account, select the Merge or Skip option on the Naming Collisions window in the Specify Migration Options wizard. DO NOT use the Replace option.
