Exporting Group Policy Objects (GPOs) from the Repository takes an excessive amount of time.

cause
The buffer size setting of the export is an excessively small value. 

fix

This hotfix may improve performance when exporting  Group Policy Objects (GPOs)  from the repository to the Active Directory.  If NetIQ Group Policy Administrator (GPA) is taking an excessive amount of time to export a GPO, apply this hotfix.

To install this hotfix, run GPA45000_Hotfix44658.exe on each NetIQ Group Policy Administrator (GPA) console and server computers.

This hotfix modifies the following files in the installation folders. By default, this folder is \Program Files\NetIQ\Group Policy Administrator 4.5:

• \Bin\faGPRInterface.dll
