Situation

Event: SNMP Response Error
Event: Timeout Error

Resolution

To resolve this issue:

Use the AppManager Security Manager to configure a read/write community string for the SNMP Device. This procedure is documented in the Working Smarter Guide PDF(Monitoring SNMP with AppManager) supplied with the module. Alternatively, a read/write community string may be entered directly into the "Community String" parameter of the SyncSet Knowledge Script.

Cause

The community string being used may not have read/write access permissions.
