Resolution

fact
Directory and Resource Administrator 7.x

symptom
Statistics for Managed Objects display as '0' (zeroes) instead of the true numbers in Directory and Resource Administrator.

symptom
Statistics for Managed Objects are falsely displayed as '0' (zeroes).

symptom
In the Delegation and Configuration console under Configuration Management | Managed Domains | <domain name>, when you right-click your <domain name> and select Properties | Statistics, all the fields under Managed Objects display as '0' (zero) instead of the true number of managed objects for this domain.

cause
The last Full Accounts Cache Refresh failed to complete.

cause
The schedule for the Full Accounts Cache Refresh has been changed to Never.

fix

For Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) to gather accurate statistics on all managed objects in a given domain, a Full Accounts Cache Refresh (FACR) must be performed and completed successfully.

To resolve this issue, either:

  • perform a manual FACR,
  • enable FACR for an interval (if it has been set to Never), OR
  • wait for the next automatic (scheduled) FACR to run.

For more information on what a FACR is and what it does, please refer to the following NetIQ Knowledge Base article:
