Contacts are not being added to target distribution lists when using EMCLI DIRSYNC
cause
The distribution lists (DL) are not included in the current DIRSYNC task. Typically, this results from the DIRSYNC pointing to a different source site than the DLs were migrated from. When EMCLI DIRSYNC synchronizes a mailbox, it does not enumerate the member-of property. However, when it synchronizes a Distribution List and finds a Distribution List as the target object rather than just a contact, it will enumerate the source DL membership and attempt to update the target DL with the corresponding members based on the current mappings in the Exchange Migrator database. This can either be contacts created by DIRSYNC, or mailboxes that have been migrated.

Execute EMCLI DIRSYNC specifying a project that has the same source site as the Distribution Lists.
