NetIQ AppManager for SNMP
What information does NetIQ Technical Support need when a problem or issue is encountered with the SNMP module?
Contact NetIQ Technical Support and provide the following information:
- The name of the SNMP Knowledge Script (KS) and a complete list of the exact KS parameter settings being used.
- Turn on SNMP Traffic Tracing in the KS and execute the problem scenario. Save a copy of the AppManager Agent?s mctrace.log file.
- Perform an SNMP Walk of the device and save a copy as a text file.
With these three pieces of information, it is much easier for NetIQ to recreate the problem scenario and provide support in a timely manner.
