Resolution
fact
Domain Migration Administrator 7.x
symptom
Error: 'Some of the accounts that were selected to be unmigrated were part of an action whose history is no longer being stored. These accounts can not be unmigrated.'
symptom
Error occurs when running the 'Undo Migration Task' wizard.
symptom
Cannot undo account migration.
cause
The accounts selected in the Undo Migration Task wizard no longer exist in the ActionHistory table within the Domain Migration Administrator (DMA) database.
fix
By design, these accounts (which no longer exist in the ActionHistory table of the DMA database) cannot be unmigrated. However, if you would like to remove the record of the migration of these accounts, delete the corresponding record from the MigratedObjects table of the Protar.mdb (\Program Files\NetIQ\DMA\Protar.mdb). This will allow the accounts to appear as if they have not been migrated. However, this will not return the license count lost from the initial migration.
