There are no profiles on the 'Profiles with Weak Passwords' report after upgrading to 7.5.

cause
This is a known issue with the 7.5 upgrade for clients who have purchased and licensed theVigilEnt Security Agent for iSeries PS PasswordManager product. 

fix

If you are using the PasswordManager product and are upgrading to 7.5:

  • Run the following command after the upgrade:

    QSYS/CPYF FROMFILE(PSSTEMP/PMTXF) TOFILE(PSSECURE/PMTXF) FROMMBR(*ALL) TOMBR(*FROMMBR) MBROPT(*ADD)
    FMTOPT(*MAP *DROP)


  • If you have already deleted the PSSTEMP library:

    • Restore the PMTXF file from a pre-upgrade backup into a temp library (not into PSSECURE).
    • Run the Copy command above, specifying the file that was restored in the FROMFILE parameter.
