When Vulnerability Manager runs the Use of user rights success auditing security check, the product is evaluating the Audit privilege use audit policy. To make your Microsoft Windows 2000 computers compliant for this check, enable Success auditing for this policy. If computer objects are located in different organizational units (OUs) or containers, enable this policy at the domain level.
The Audit privilege use audit policy is located in the Group Policy editor under Windows Settings >Security Settings > Local Policies > Audit Policy. To enable success auditing for the policy, complete the following steps:
- Right-click on the Audit privilege use policy and select Security.
- Select the Define these policy settings check box.
- Select the Success check box.
- Click OK.
