To locally install the NetIQ Vulnerability Manager Agent for Windows in silent mode:

1. Locate the NetIQ Vulnerability Manager product download or CD.
2. Go to Intel\Deployment\Windows\VSOCinstaller_trial.exe.
3. Copy the VSOCinstaller_trial.exe file directly to the target machine (or a CD).
4. Include the .exe file in an installation file, or execute the file on a local machine.

To install the full agent with Service Pack 1a in silent mode:

1. Locate the NetIQ Vulnerability Manager Service Pack 1a product download.
2. Go to Vulnerability Manager 5.0 SP1\Deployment\VSOCinstaller_trial.exe.
3. Copy the VSOCinstaller_trial.exe file directly to the target machine (or a CD).
4. Include the .exe file in an installation file, or execute the file on a local machine.
