cause
This issue can be caused by an uninstall that did not complete or did not remove everything.  This can happen if the install program is corrupt or missing files when the remote uninstall runs.

fix

To remove the Windows Agent product, follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to the %program files%Netiq/Vulnerability Manager Agent directory.
  2. Execute the unwise.exe file.
  3. This will fully remove the product.
