When generating a 'Group Membership' or 'Recursive Group Membership' report, I receive an error message.

Error: 'failed to load results from the migration task.  Please see the migration.log for more details.hr=80004005'

Unable to successfully generate data for the Group Membership reports.

fix

To resolve this issue:

  1. Create a project and run the group membership reports from within the project.
  2. Ensure you run the reporting wizard.  Note: If you right-click the report name to run the wizard, be sure to select the reporting wizard instead of 'Generate this report'.
