symptom
Cannot start VSA for NetWare agent.

cause
The NetWin32.dll is installed by the Novell NetWare Client. This error message occurs because the Novell NetWare Client has not been installed on the VSAN server. VSAN requires the Novell NetWare Client for Windows version 4.8 or higher.

fix

To resolve this issue:

Install the NetWare Client 4.8 or later on the VSAN computer.

If you have installed Service Pack 2 for the VSA NetWare agent, it is not recommended to install a NetWare Client newer than 4.83. Issues may arise where the agent is unable to run as a service with the NetWare client 4.9 or laterinstalled. The NetWare 4.83 SP2 client can be downloaded from the Cool Solutions section of the NetWare website.
