symptom
Error in job log 'Data area PSSLIB in *LIBL not found' when trying to do a password synchronization.

cause
QGPL is not in the initial library list of the user profile.

fix

Ccreate a duplicate object of data area PSSLIB and put it in a library that is in the job description of the user profile:

  1. Access an OS/400 command line.
  2. Type CRTDUPOBJ and press F4 to prompt.
  3. Indicate in the From object field PSSLIB.
  4. Indicate in the From library field QGPL.
  5. Indicate in the Object type field *DTAARA.
  6. Indicate in the To library field  the name of a library that is in the job description of the user profile.
  7. Indicate in the New object field PSSLIB.
  8. Press Enter.
