Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) Reporting hangs when importing data on Contact details.

cause
If there is a trailing space in any Organizational Unit (OU) name, the import will go into an endless loop causing the GUI to hang.

fix

This is corrected in DRA 7.5. To resolve this issue upgrade to the latest version of DRA.

As a workaround, remove the trailing space at the end of the Organizational Unit (OU) in question. You can determine the specific OU by parsing through the log files with logviewer.exe (located in C:\Program Files\NetIQ\DRA). Look for multiple OUGetInfo::Process: entered entries for the same OU to identify the one containing the trailing space.
