Error: 'Invalid AppManager i386 distribution directory. - AMADMIN_AgentUpdate using UNC path \\Servername\Share\AppManager\Setup\Setup.exe'
Error: 'Invalid AppManager i386 distribution directory. - AMADMIN_AgentInstall using UNC path \\Servername\Share\AppManager\Setup\Setup.exe'
Resolution
Remove the file name Setup.exe
from the UNC path.
Cause
Knowledge Scripts know the executable is called
Setup.exe
. As such, the Knowledge Scripts are searching for a blank file nqx86
in the last subdirectory in the UNC path you typed, so including Setup.exe
in the path causes it to error when the assumed setup.exe
is not found. When the Knowledge Script fails to locate that blank nqx86
file, it automatically starts looking for an i386
directory, which doesn't exist, and you get this error. Additional Information
