How can I modify the Action_SMTPMAIL recipient list within Ad hoc jobs without selecting each individual job?

How do I propagate to Ad hoc Jobs modifications to knowledge script properties?

You can change the properties of the Action_SMTPMAIL setting within the host knowledge script (KS), then propagate the changes to the host KS to your Ad hoc jobs.  This update restarts jobs with the updated properties. 

To propagate your Properties modifications:

1. Modify the knowledge script as required.

2. Right-click on the modified knowledge script.

3. Select Properties Propagation > Ad hoc Jobs.

4. Ensure Properties is selected by clearing the SCRIPT checkbox.

5. Click OK. 

To make administration easier, use a Distribution List (DL) on your mail server with the names of the recipients you want to notify.  Thus, you can create a separate DL for each KS recipient list. For future modificaitons to your recipient lists, you can add or remove names to your email DL and allow for network replication. These changes would not require AppManager modifications or job status changes.
