Error: 'Temporary GPO location is not correct' received when connecting to the Repository.

symptom
Why am I receiving Error: 'Temporary GPO location is not correct'  when I try to connect to the repository?

cause
The local_GPOs share on the console machine is not available.

fix

The local_GPOs share on the console machine is used for the Checkout/CheckIn functionality of the Reposiory.

To resolve, on the GPA Console machine:

1. Navigate to the directory C:\Program Files\NetIQ\Group Policy Administrator 4.0\
2. Right click on the Local GPOs directory and select Sharing and Security...
3. Select Share this folder radio button and enter the share name as Local_GPOs. 

Note:  The share name has to be match identically to the share name specified in the Local GPO Path value specified in the following registry key on the console machine:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FullArmor\FAZAM CCM\GP Repository

For GPA 5.0 do the following:

To resolve, on the GPA Console machine:

1. Navigate to the directory C:\Program Files\NetIQ\Group Policy Administrator\
2. Right click on the Local GPOs directory and select Sharing.
3. Select Share this folder radio button and enter the share name as GPOsManagedByGPA$. 

Note:  The share name has to be match identically to the share name specified in the Local GPO Path value specified in the following registry key on the console machine:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FullArmor\FAZAM 2000\GP Repository\Local GPO Path
