fix

This issue can be corrected by one of the following methods:

  • Clean out the corrupt job in Task Scheduler.
  • Upgrade to DRA 7.x as it no longer has any dependency on task scheduler for any job.
  • Upgrade the Administration Server to Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4

To clean out the corrupt task in task scheduler, perform the following:

  1. Open a Command prompt and display the list of jobs in C:\WINNT by typing:
    • dir /A *.job
  2. Review the list for jobs with a zero length. If you find one, it has been corrupted.
  3. Delete all the jobs.
  4. Rename C:\WINNT\SchedLgU.txt to C:\WINNT\SchedLgU.old
  5. Stop the MCS one point service.
  6. Stop the Task Scheduler service.
  7. Start the Task Scheduler service.
  8. Review SchedLgU.txt for any errors.
  9. If there are no errors, wait 15 minutes and start the MCS OnePoint service.
  10. Review SchedLgU.txt for any errors.
