NetIQ AppManager 6.x
NetIQ AppManager 7.0.x

Situation

How do I restore a default Knowledge Script (KS) that was deleted from the AppManager Operator Console?

Resolution

In order to recover a Knowledge Script (KS) that has been removed or deleted from the AppManager Operator Console:

  1. Launch the AppManager Operator Console.
  2. Go to KS and select Check in Knowledge Script.
  3. Browse to the location of the KS Group on the Repository Computer (The folder name will be the KS tab name. The default location for all standard KS is: C:\Program Files\NetIQ\AppManager\qdb\kp).
  4. Select the Knowledge Script you wish to check in and click Open.
  5. Click OK to the "Checked in...." message.
  6. Confirm the Knowledge Script is now in the AppManager Operator Console.
