symptom
HP-UX 10.20 server will not communicate with VigilEnt Security Agent for Unix version 5.0 (VSA).

cause
The VigilEnt Security Agent for Unix is not supported unless HP-UX 10.20 computers are patched.

fix

The VigilEnt Security Agent for Unix requires libc cumulative HP-UX patchPHCO_23684 be installed on HP-UX 10.20 computers to communicate. Without this patch, the communication pathway between the Unix agent and the Unix Manager will not work. The patch can be downloaded from Hewlett Packard at:
