cause
This is a known issue you may experience when using the Accounts and Resource Management console to change mailbox permissions on an account in a trusted Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 domain.

fix

This issue is addressed in NetIQ Directory and Resource Administrator and Exchange Administrator version 7.0 SP1 Hotfix 39780.

Hotfix 39780 corrects an issue when attempting to enumerate trusted Windows NT 4.0 domains wile editing the Mailbox properties of a user account. Applying this hotfix allows you to select trusted Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 domains as the source for delegating mailbox security and ownership. Individuals using the Account and Resource Management console to change mailbox permissions on an account in a trusted Windows NT 4.0 domain may have experienced this limitation. Hotfix 39780 corrects this issue.

Note: This hotfix requires DRA version 7.0 SP1.

To download and install this hotfix.

  1. Close all DRA user interfaces.
  2. Run the DRA70001_Hotfix39780.msi file on each computer where the Accounts and Resource Management console has been installed. 

The hotfix modifies the NetIQ.DRA.Console.Accounts.dll file on the computer where the Accounts and Resource Management console has been installed. By default, this file is located in the Program Files\NetIQ\DRA folder .
