Situation

VigilEnt Security Agent for iSeries tasks fail.

Tasks return errors indicating invalid parameter values.

Resolution

This is a known issue resolved by PTF 1C02006, available for download by request from Technical Support, or by taking these steps:

  1. Go to https://www.netiq.com/support/default.asp
  2. Click the Hotfixes link.
  3. Download Hotfix PTF 1C02006.


Cause

The Packet Signatures parameter of the PSECONFIG command on the iSeries agent='N.
