Yes, VigilEnt Password Manager (VPM) version 2.1 is supported by Vulnerability Manger (VM) version 5.0, 4.1 and 3.0.  In order to ensure VPM compatibility with VM, please consider the following required items specific to managing passwords on Microsoft Windows platforms:

• A VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows (VSANT) version 4.0 agent must be running and monitoring the Domain Endpoint.  VPM 2.1 is not compatible with VSANT version 5.0 (or later) which ships with VM version 5.0.  Please note, the VSANT 4.0 agent does not have to be installed on the PDC or PDC emulator.  It can monitoring the Domain via proxy.  For more information on the proxy capabilities of VSANT, please refer to the Vulnerability Manager online help under the section Agents.
• VPM must be configured in Server Mode.  For more information on configuring VPM in Server Mode, please refer to Chapter 4 under the section, Setting The Domain Or Server Mode in the VPM user guide.
