Situation
Async_NTEventLog is not generating events.
Async_NTEventLog job fails to throw Events for Securty Event Log entries.
General_EventLog job fails to throw Events for Security Event Log entries.

Resolution
NetIQ recommends that you use NetIQ Security Manager to monitor the Windows Security Event Logs on Active Directory Servers. For more information about NetIQ Security Manager, please visit our website here .
Cause
Windows 2000 & 2003 Security Event Logs on Active Directory Servers can be updated constantly, with many entries per second, making it very difficult for the Async_NTEventLog and General_EventLog jobs to keep up with the volume of new entries in the Security Event Log as a result. Neitehr Knowledge Script was designe dto handle this volume of logging traffic.
