Event ID: 31531 - Log Manager: Trend analysis failed because the service account that the SQL Analysis Service is using does not have permissions to access the Log Database Computer.

cause
This is normally due to access permission on the database. The windows service account that the SQL 2000 Analysis services runs does not have permission to access the database server.

fix

Make sure that the windows service account used by SQL 2000 Analysis services ( MSSQLServerOlapService) on your trend analysis server can access the database server. If you are using the LocalSystem account, try using a domain account or the same account that OnePoint service uses.
