To set up Inactive Session Monitor to monitor group jobs, please refer to the following:

  1. On a command entry line, type CRTDUPOBJ OBJ(TFRGRPJOB) FROMLIB(PSSECURE) OBJTYPE(*CMD) TOLIB(ALTSYS), where ALTSYS is an alternate system library appearing before the QSYS entry in the system value QSYSLIBL, then press Enter.
  2. Type command DSPOBJAUT OBJ(ALTSYS/TFRGRPJOB) OBJTYPE(*CMD) , and press Enter.
  3. On the Display Object Authority screen, verify that user *PUBLIC has *USE object authority.
