To schedule jobs in the Advanced Job Scheduler, please refer to the following.

  1. Schedule the job using the VSAi interfaces such as PSAudit/SAR.
  2. On a command entry line, type GO JSSYSCTL , press Enter.
  3. From the System Controls menu, select Option 7 Work with OS/400 job schedule entries,  press Enter.
  4. From the Work with OS/400 Job Schedule Entries screen, select the desired entry with Option 8=Add to Job Scheduler,  press Enter.
  5. From the Add Job using Job Scheduler (ADDJOBJS) command prompt, make any desired modifications, press Enter.
  6. From the Work with OS/400 Job Schedule Entries screen, select the same entry again with Option 4=Remove,  press Enter to remove it from the OS/400 Job Scheduler.
