 An error occurs when an Assistant Admin clicks the Email Addresses tab in the Web Console.

Assistant Admins delegated the Mailbox Administration role are unable to view the properties on the Email Addresses tab of an Exchange 2000 Mailbox using the Web Console.

Assistant Admins are able to view and modify the properties on the Email Addresses tab of an Exchange 2000 mailbox using the Win32 User Interface (Delegation and Configuration Management or the Account and Resource Management console), but receive the following error when attempting the same task using the Web Console:

You do not have power to see any properties on this form.

The same problem occurs if the Assistant Admin is delegated the Modify Exchange 2000 Email Addresses power.

cause
The Web Console code calls the ProxyGenerate code, which requires the Assistant Admins to have additional powers and thus results in the error.

fix

This problem has been identified by NetIQ and has been fixed in Service Pack 1 for Directory and Resource Administrator 7.0.
