When reports end in error, the error report is blank.

symptom
Reports fail but do not print error.  The report only displays the report header.

symptom
The 'File Directory and Permission' report fails and only displays the report header and server.

symptom
The 'File Directory and Permission' report fails without a detail error line in the report.

cause
The error information is not in a format that VigilEnt Security Manager (VSM) can print.  The data has some hidden characters that confuse the data presenter.

fix

This is resolved with  VigilEnt Security Manager 4.1 Hotfix38335  which is available on our website or by clicking the following link:
