Remote Request Management (RRM)

cause
The RRM Option 30 Manage RRM, Option 3 Cycle Remote Servers is not running to completion in version 7.5.  A PTF is expected in the future.

fix

The following commands should be issued in the order they are listed:

  1. End host servers using the ENDHOSTSVR command for Server type *FILE and *DATABASE.

  2. End subsystem QSERVER using the ENDSBS command. This will end all jobs in the subsystem.

  3. End subsystem QUSRWRK using the ENDSBS command. This will end all jobs in the subsystem.

  4. Start subsystem QSERVER using the STRSBS command.

  5. Start subsystem QUSRWRK using the STRSBS command.

  6. Start host servers using the STRHOSTSVR command for Server type *FILE and *DATABASE.
