Distribution groups created using Directory and Resource Administrator are not created correctly.

symptom
Distribution groups have the Adminstrative Storage Group name in the 'Name' field when viewing the properties using Native Tools.

Properties such as Alias, Group Membership show up blank after the group has been successfully created using Directory and Resource Administrator.

symptom
Group membership appears blank when viewing properties of a Distribution group created using the Web Console or the Win32 console.

cause

The above described problem occurs if the Distribution group is created and mail-enabled using Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA).  The DRA console passes the legacyExchangeDN property in the form:

/o=org/ou=First Administrative Group

Instead of:

/o=org/ou=First Administrative Group/cn=Recipients/cn=alias

fix

This problem has been identified by NetIQ and has been fixed in Service Pack 1 for Directory and Resource Administrator 7.0.
