To schedule the Archive File Generation (DDARC) job follow the instructions below:
- On a OS/400 command line, type
WRKJOBSCDE
, and press Enter. - Press F6=Add, and press Enter.
- In the Job Name field indicate the name you want to call the job.
- In the Command to run field enter
DDARC
and press F4=prompt to bring up the parameters of the job. - In the File field indicate the name of the archive file.
- In the Library field indicate the name of the library where the archive file resides.
- In the Starting journal receiver field indicate
*CURRENT
 or*CURCHAIN
, determining if you want to copy the attached journal receiver or the entire receiver chain. - In the Job queue field indicate the job queue.
- In the Output queue field indicate the output queue.
- In the Run in Batch field indicate either
*YES
or*NO
, and press Enter. - In the Frequency field indicate
*ONCE
,*WEEKLY
, orÂ*MONTHLY
. - In the Scheduled Date indicate the Date,
*SAME
, orÂ*CURRENT
. - In the Scheduled Time indicate the Time,
*SAME
, orÂ*CURRENT
. - Indicate
*YES
in the Save field, and press Enter.
