Moving endpoints or clicking on queues seems to hang the GUI for several minutes.

symptom
Response is extremely slow when clicking on anything inside the GUI.

cause
Automatic list refreshes will slow down GUI response time.

fix

To Disable Automatic list refreshes:

  1. Login to VigilEnt Security Manager.
  2. Click on Tools | Options.
  3. Select the Other tab.
  4. Uncheck the Enable Automatic List Refreshes box.
  5. Click Apply and close the window.

Other applications that send streaming data such as programs that keep you updated on the weather can also produce these same symptoms.  Remove those applications or disable the streaming data.
