fix

First use command, WRKJRNA JRN(PSAUDIT/DDJRN).  Press F15 (shift + F3) and review the Attach Date for the receiver with the Status of Attached.  Also note the Attach Date for the previously attached receiver.  You may manually delete "extra" receivers from this screen if you wish.

To use DAR to Generate/Save/Purge Receivers, follow the steps below from the DAR Main Menu.

  1. Press F11=Sys Menu.
  2. Select Option 1  Work With Journals, and press Enter.
  3. Enter Option 8=Gen/Save/Purge Receivers, next to Journal DDJRN, and press Enter.
  4. Set the three parameters to meet your needs.  Remember that when you generate a new receiver, if you choose to delete unattached receivers, you will have the newly created receiver and the one prior to it.  If this is not enough history, you may wish to manage the number of receivers on your machine manually.
