VigilEnt Security Manager (VSM) licensing is based on the number of managed endpoints, or systems set up in VSM.  In VSM, you need one license for each endpoint you have set up to be monitored and reported against.  This is regardless of the platform, e.g. Windows, iSeries, UNIX, etc.
