symptom
Error: 'Unable to enumerate the printers' received when managing printers.

symptom
Right-clicking a computer object and selecting Manage | Printers opens the Printview window and an error message 'Unable to enumerate the printers' appears.  After clicking OK, the Printview window is empty.

cause
The Print Spooler service is not running on the Directory and Resource Adminstrator (DRA) server.

fix
Directory and Resource Administrator uses the Spooler Service to enumerate printers and print queues.  To resolve, verify that the Print Spooler service is started on the Directory and Resource Administration server.
