Situation

WebSphereAppSrv Knowledge Script properties can be unexpectedly reset to their default values.

Resolution

There is no fix for this problem.  For this reason, you will need to specify the correct values in the Schedule, Actions, and Advanced tabs of the Knowledge Script properties dialog each time you run a Knowledge Script.  Note that once a job has started executing, the settings will be remembered, so if you choose to edit the properties of a running job (or a job that has been run, but is currently stopped), you will only need to change the specific values that you need to change; you will not need to re-specify non-default values which you do not wish to modify.

Cause

The AppManager infrastructure has an issue that causes values specified in a WebSphereAppSrv (and WebSphereAppSrvUNIX) Knowledge Script?s properties dialog to be reset to their default values when the properties dialog is closed by clicking the OK button.  This issue affects changes made to values in the Schedule, Actions, and Advanced tabs of the properties dialog, but not to changes made to values in the Values tab of the dialog.
