Discovery fails when WebSphere security is enabled.
cause
The perfservlet application that this module uses to discover WebSphere resources (and to retrieve performance metrics) has an issue that causes it to fail when WebSphere Global Security is enabled.
fix
This problem has reportedly been fixed in WebSphere 5.0.2, and IBM has made available a fix for WebSphere 5.0.1. If you are running WebSphere 5.0, you will either need to upgrade to a newer release, or turn off global security. The fix for WebSphere 5.0.1 can be found by searching for PQ72877 on IBM?s support website.
