symptom
Event Log Error: 'The NT user domain/user logged onto username mailbox, and is not the primary Windows NT account on this mailbox' Event ID: 1016'.
cause
This event is the result of the target user account logging onto it's own mailbox using the SID History property.
fix
Translate security on the mailbox using the "Translate Security Settings for Exchange" wizard within the Domain Migration Administrator (DMA) console interface. Since SID History has been migrated, we recommend you use Replace mode rather thanAdd. This will save a step in your migration plan because you will not need to run this wizard again in 'Remove' mode before you decommission your source domain.
