Remote Request Management (RRM)

symptom
Error: 'Record Already Exists' when attempting to create a Secured Entry for 'Telnet Init' function for user Anonymous.

symptom
Rejected Entry is collected when users attempt to create printer sessions via Client Access.

cause
RRM Telnet Attributes are not set to allow creation of printer sessions via Client Access.

fix

Changing the Telnet Attributes will allow this functionality.  From the RRM Menu, perform the following:

  1. Select Option 30  Manage RRM, press Enter.
  2. Select Option 21  Change Telnet Attribute, press Enter.
  3. Press F9=All parameters.
  4. Set Allow printer sessions and Allow printer device creation to *YES.  It may also be necessary to change Allow display device naming to *YES.
