To enable logging for the VigilEnt Security Server:
- Open the VigilEnt Security Server Configuration Utility (Start | Programs | NetIQ VigilEnt Security Manager | VigilEnt Security Server | Configuration Utility).
- On the Logging tab, change the following settings:
Log Output Level = debug (Saved)
VSS Communication Tracing = enabled (Saved)
- Click Apply.
- Go to Services and stop and restart the VigilEnt Security Server service.
- After all logging has been enabled, re-run the report/action.
- Locate the vss.log and trace.log files in the ...
\Program Files\NetIQ VigilEnt Security Manager\VSS\Log
directory. - E-mail all log files to VigilEnt-support@netiq.com.
